Dr. Festus Addo-Yobo – Director of Black Programs
Dr. Festus Addo-Yobo, current Director of Black Programs at New Mexico State University, was formerly director of African-American Student Services at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minn, ending in 2005. Before joining Metropolitan State University, Dr. Addo-Yobo was director of the African American Learning Resource Center at the University of Minnesota at Duluth from 1997 to 2004. He previously was an academic counselor at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill., and a master’s degree in education with a focus on student affairs at Western Kentucky University. Dr. Addo-Yobo completed his doctorate in Educational Management and Development at New Mexico State University. He was also born in Ghana.
