Black Programs at New Mexico State University as part of the Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity welcomed over 60 members of our Black community here at NMSU and the City of Las Cruces for the 2024 Elders’ Banquet with the keynote from Nora O’ Garro ’78.

This was a gathering that our student leaders and supporters were able to be engaged and share in the theme of Purpose, Passion, and Possibilities.

Thank you for making this year’s Elders’ Banquet a memorable one. Special thanks to Mrs. O’Garro for being such an inspiration. We are grateful to the alumni, community members, faculty, staff, students, and anyone who made this day special.
